When I was in second grade, I struggled to learn how to spell the word “BECAUSE.” That darn word kept me off the “spelling wizard” list for weeks. I wrote about wanting to go to Northwestern because of the "walls being low" (something an admission officer mentioned). The theme was wanting to do engineering, but being excited that there were other opportunities to work with if that didn't work out, or just in general to try.

For my NU supplement essay I took a phrase from the admission officers "the walls are low here." This refers to the ability to take classes across schools regardless of what school you are in.
