Additional material sent in after waitlisted or deferred

I was waitlisted from three schools and deferred AND waitlisted from another. It's not a bad thing, frankly. It's worse than being accepted but it's better than being rejected outright. I ended up being accepted to the school that had deferred and then waitlisted me, so the wait was worth it, even if it was extremely frustrating.
