My favorite place that I am content is the kitchen. When ever I was depressed or feeling anxious, I would go to the kitchen to cook or bake. It is my happy place. I love to cook for people that I love and care about. Food made with love brings people together and I love to bring family and friends into the fold. Making something with my own two hands helped instill the self-confidence I sometimes felt I was lacking.
