A desire for future success has driven me for the past 5 years to accomplish a collegiate softball position at one of the most accredited Universities in the country; however, it hasn't been the easiest. In high school, I struggled with slight depression, and today, I'm consistently ridden with anxiety. It has been tough, but I am happy with the path that I have chosen and look forward to what's to come.

The topic was to describe a struggle, and how I overcame this and what came from it.

I wrote my essay on how during the summer before my sophomore year, I rarely got opportunities to step on the field during my softball games. During the following 6-8 months, I changed my ways and pushed myself to improve, and the following summer, I controlled the field. I was given the opportunities that I deserved after the work I had put into my game.
