What I like about my school’s location and culture

Columbia is a brilliant academic environment-- the professors are almost unmatched in terms of quality and up-to-date content, and the campus is beautiful, if at times somewhat decrepit. That being said, since Columbia is in the city, one really has to be proactive in finding their niche within the culture here. It's easy to be left behind.
