College Application Essays
Personal Statement:
International background,
Feeling out of place
64 Words
When I was 8 years old, I moved from London to Florida. I spoke about my experience moving and how hard it was to say goodbye, but I also described how it made me more comfortable trying new things and traveling to new places. I focused on the fact that I held onto my cultural roots while also enjoying and adapting to life in America.
Supplemental Essay: “Why us” school essay
49 Words
